Blake Chapman Flight Scholarship
The Blake Chapman Flight Scholarship was created by a group of individuals who wanted to give students in Teton County, Idaho the chance to learn how to fly. This scholarship covers the full cost of instruction and materials for students to obtain their private pilot’s license, a value of approximately $8,500 each. Applicants must be 16 years of age by May 1st of the year in which they apply and must demonstrate good academic standing, community service/involvement, financial need, and a commitment to becoming a pilot. Applicants must be able to be devoted full-time to training at least 4 days a week.
The application period for the 2016 Blake Chapman Flight Scholarship is now closed.
The application period for the 2017 Blake Chapman Flight Scholarship will be open from 9 AM on February 1, 2017 to 5 PM on March 31, 2017. Check back here for the application link at that time.
