The Tin Cup Challenge depends on the tireless efforts of hundreds of volunteers to coordinate safe and successful races and a full morning of celebration in the park.  Volunteers perform important tasks like helping at aid stations, waving flags on the racecourse, putting up signs, working in the office, registering runners, and many other duties.

All participating nonprofits are required to meet a volunteer hour minimum to participate in this fundraising campaign.

Current Tin Cup Challenge volunteer opportunities are posted on an on-line system called Eventbrite.  To find up what you can do to help — and more opportunities are posted regularly —  visit www.2013tincupchallenge.eventbrite.com.

We are using this online ticketing system to track volunteer opportunities and hours.  Please remember the following when registering for volunteer opportunities:

  • If you click on the quantity you will notice how many people we need for each shift. Some require only 1 – some require 10.
  • IMPORTANT: If you are registering for more than one volunteer, you must register one volunteer at a time to allow us to track volunteer hours properly.
  • IMPORTANT: Please indicate the nonprofit who should receive your hours in the “Company” line.
  • If you see a Ticket is “Sold Out” it means we need no more volunteers for that job.

Volunteer opportunities will be added on an ongoing basis, so check back!
