Tin Cup Challenge

THE CAMPAIGN

The Tin Cup Challenge is a Teton Valley philanthropy campaign that concludes with a competitve race and community-wide celebration.

The Tin Cup Challenge Campaign kicks off with a nine-week giving period that starts in late May. During the giving period, donations made to participating nonprofits are matched - typically in the range of 50% - thanks to Tin Cup Community Challengers who generously donate to the match fund.

Our Challengers motivate donors at all levels to give, as the value of each donation is increased with the match.

The 4th Annual Tin Cup Challenge achieved a significant fundraising milestone, raising over $1 million for participating nonprofits!

THE RACES

The Tin Cup Challenge races include a marathon, marathon relay, half-marathon, 10K, 5K and a 5K fun run and walk. Participants receive medals and t-shirts, and winners receive "nonprofit bucks" - checks that they can donate to their favorite participating nonprofits. The races are held annually on the third Saturday of July in Driggs City Park. The 5th Annual Tin Cup Challenge races will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012.

THE CELEBRATION

All participating nonprofits set up fun activities in Driggs City Park during Saturday's race. Free breakfast, a climbing wall, a petting zoo, bike obstacle course, arts and crafts, trivia contests, musical instruments and more create interactive ways for the community to learn more about the critical work of our nonprofits and HAVE FUN!
